Your Haus of Furs coat is a timeless investment, and proper care will ensure it remains beautiful for years to come.

Initial Moulting: Your fur may shed slightly during the first few wears. This is natural and will stop once the loose hairs have fallen.

Brushing: To maintain its texture and prevent matting, lightly brush your coat regularly using an animal-friendly brush.

Storage: Never store your fur in a garment bag. Fur requires air circulation to prevent the hide from drying out or cracking.

Avoid Wear Damage: Be mindful of carrying shoulder or arm bags in the same position repeatedly, as this can wear the fur and create bald spots.

Perfume & Hairspray: Avoid applying perfume or hairspray directly onto your garment to preserve the fur’s natural quality.

Rain & Snow: If caught in light rain or snow, gently shake off excess water and hang your coat to dry in a well-ventilated space. For heavily soaked fur, seek professional fur cleaning immediately.

Professional Cleaning: Even if worn infrequently, we recommend having your coat professionally cleaned at least once a year.

Sunlight: Do not leave your coat in direct sunlight, as this may bleach the fur.

Fluff & Volume: Upon arrival, hang your coat to allow the fur to naturally fluff. For added volume, you may gently blow-dry your coat to achieve a full, luxurious finish.
